Royal Streke

This is Dusty's dam, a double homozygous tobiano mare who is a granddaughter of QT Poco Streke and a great-granddaughter of Pepsi Poco with many other champions in her pedigree. She has excellent conformation and muscle as well, outstanding athletic ability and an easy-going personality. Streke puts alot of size and leg on her foals.

At least he waited about 10 minutes after I groomed him before he finally gave in & rolled. He kept looking for just the right spot.

I couldn't be too mad at him though since he looked like he was really really enjoying it!

Another AWESOME buckskin! Our breeding stock just continues to amaze us with the quality of not only temperament & conformation but also beautiful color & patterns. Dusty is a gorgeous buckskin tobiano. He just turned 2 years old on July 3rd. Already good size but still has a few more years to grow. I estimate he will mature to between 15.1 & 15.2 hands & approximately 1200 pounds. He was gelded in May & is now ready to start some light groudwork so he can be ready to start under saddle next spring or early summer. Sired by our previous foundation bred cremello sire & out of a double homozygous QT Poco Streke granddaughter, Dusty has the talent, intelligence & physical attributes of both his parents. He comes from a long line of performance horses with superior versatility. This guy is a pleasure to look at & to work with---he is willing to learn & eager to please. As many of you know, we use only natural horsemanship here on our ranch & we also don't usually start our horses under saddle until they reach 3 years of age depending on size & rate of growth. Dusty is current on his shots. He halters, leads, stands for grooming & the vet. I have been tying him while I groom him but I never walk away from a tied youngster so he has not yet been left standing tied alone. He is used to having his feet picked up & handled by us but due to his natural living conditions he has not yet needed to see an outside farrier. He takes everything in stride & is well mannered in a stall or the pasture. He is used to various farm equipment including 4 wheelers & is educated about electric fencing. This guy has so many possibilities open to him from halter to performance to trail to pleasure. Take your pick---he will definitely get noticed where ever you take him. Just don't take too long because he is priced to sell. See his sire, dam & some siblings below.
